Engineering Intern - eMobility HV Systems & Quality

Start Date: September 2018, 6-12 months, 40 hours per week, must commit
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
The intern will support emobility engineering staff in field of proof of concept charging application development and testing for electrified vehicles.
Support concept draft, requirement generation and system interface development that drive vehicle charging related applications
Author technical reports for a wide, global audience
Present status of various projects to management
Education & Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelors (within 1 year of graduation), or MS or PhD program in Computer Science or computer engineering. Minimum GPA 3.5
Knowledge of electric vehicle operations concepts
Strong MS Office computer skills to create presentations and reports including developing tools using macros/scripts
Android or IOS development tools and paradigms (Gradle, Android studio, user interface layout, fragment usage, services...)
Programming in Java, Node.Js, Python, C#, JSON
Cloud backend connectivity for mobile app services (Microsoft Azure, Google cloud, Amazon cloud...)
Web API and Web client software development
Vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
Vehicle flashing and diagnostic service (OBD, Over the Air Programming)
Design & analysis of computer algorithms and data structures
IP Protocols, OSI layer model, IT security
Git, GNU Make, Jira, Confluence
Knowledge of applicable e-Mobility Standards (ISO/IEC15118, J1772, SEP2.0, etc.)
Microsoft Power Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Valid Driver's License

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
